Multi-Fuel Stoves
Multi-Fuel Stoves are a superbly stylish and economical way to bring the warmth of a living flame into todays modern home. Today’s Multi-Fuel Stoves benefit from the latest advances in technology for exceptional efficiency and have been sympathetically redesigned so as to retain the heritage of their past and yet embrace current trends in home decor. Available in a range of sizes, styles and colours there’s truly a Multi-Fuel Stove to suit every home.
Efficiency
A traditional open fire in the home is only around 20% efficient as most of the heat produced from burning is lost straight up the chimney. By comparison, a cast iron multi-fuel Stove can be up to 80% efficient! You may be asking, what does this actually mean for me? In fuel terms, you’ll use up to 60% less fuel in a stove and you’ll also derive more heat from what you do burn. This’ll mean Saving money, fuel and staying warmer.
What’s more, with oil, gas and electricity prices seemingly in an ever upward spiral a Multi-Fuel Stove easily returns it’s investment and adds real value to your home should you decide to sell. Multi-Fuel Stoves certainly aren’t fussy as to what they burn with wood, coal, peat briquettes or smokeless fuel being acceptable and readily available, you could even pick some fuel up when out for an afternoon walk!
Environmentally Clean
As you burn less fuel with a multi-fuel stove to get more heat you’ll also be saving on CO2 emissions, modern stoves also allow you to regulate how quickly your fuel is burned. What’s more, wood is a sustainable and Carbon neutral source of fuel.
