Rangemaster are the undisputed market leaders in range cooking but the story of Rangemaster and indeed that of the Kitchener began much longer ago.  The Rangemaster Kitchener began life in Leamington Spa in 1830 courtesy of the genius that was the Flavel family.

Manufactured in cast iron and heated by solid fuel, the Kitchener fufilled a number of household tasks and was used to bake, roast, boil and warm – from the same heat source.  The Kitchener was applauded as the greatest domestic institution of the 19th Century and graced the kitchens of royalty across the world.  Today, Rangemaster and the Kitchener are still revered for their robust quality and stylish design.

Today’s Rangemaster Kitchener Range Cookers exude style and incorporate a host of enviable features, including a separate grilling compartment, attractive Chrome or Brass door furniture and as many as six burners.  The Rangemaster Kitchener is also available in a variety of attractive finishes including Ivory, Matt Black and Cream.  What’s more, with the versatile combination of having two large electric ovens there’s capacity for the most discerning of cooks.

The Rangemaster Kitchener is available in two sizes, 900mm (Kitchener 90) and 1100mm (Kitchener 110).  This choice allows added flexibility when designing your kitchen, especially for those who desire a Range Cooker but perhaps aren’t able to accommodate a full sized range stove in their home. The Rangemaster Kitchener 90 & 110 are available  in two fuel types for greater convenience, Dual Fuel (Natural or LPG) and all Electric with a Ceramic Hob.

The Dual Fuel Kitchener’s hob is graced with 6 gas rings (5 on the Kitchener 90) of varying sizes.  For added safety the Kitchener’s Gas Hob is fitted with a Flame Safety Device (FSD) that cleverly cuts the gas supply if the flame is extinguished.  The Kitcheners hob is furnished with cast iron pan supports that are both durable and stylish in their matt black finish.  For those that require additional functionality on their hob an optional sit-on griddle allows for yet greater culinary exploits.

The Ceramic Kitchener Range Cooker come with with either 6 or 5 fast heating zones (Kitchener 110 and 90 respectively).  Ceramic Hobs are known for their rapid heat and easy cleaning and the Kitcheners Ceramic Hob is no exception.  What’s more the Rangemaster Ceramic Hobs come complete with a Hob Hot Indicator for added safety and are easily controlled from their stylish chrome or brass fixtures.

The Kitchener 110 benefits from two large 67 Litre Ovens, one a Fan Oven, the other a conventional Oven.  Each oven is double shelved and features ‘Cook and Clean’ lining  for easier cleaning.  The Kitchener 110 also features a helpful porthole window allowing you to keep an eye on your meal without oping your cooker.

The Kitchener 90 boasts two large Ovens Fan Ovens including a deceptively large Tall Oven with a capacity of 53 Litres and 3 useful shelves.  The seccond larger fan oven has a capacity of 67 Litres and sports double shelving and a porthole door.

The usability of the Kitchener’s Ovens is enhanced further by the presence of a separate Dual Circuit Electric Grill, giving you greater convenience whilst preparing that special meal or family dinner.
